MISLEADING! Binasura ng Ombudsman ang kasong treason na isinampa laban kay dating Pangulo Noynoy Aquino at dating Sen. Antonio Trillanes dahil sa kawalan ng malakas na ebidensya noong 2017.

Kinasuhan si Aquino at Trillanes ng espionage at treason dahil sa pagsagawa ng backchannel negotiations kasama ang China. Isinagawa ni Aquino ang backchannel negotiations para mairesolba ang ilegal na pananatili ng mga banyaga sa West Philippine Sea.

Noong 2019, binasura rin ng Ombudsman ang kasong graft at usurpation na inihain laban kay dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino. Inihain ang kaso laban sa dating pangulo dahil sa pagkamatay ng SAF 44. Aniya ng Ombudsman na si Samuel Martires, walang malakas na ‘probable cause’ o ebidensiya laban kay Aquino.
